I'll try and keep an eye as best as possible on the blog but as you can imagine I'm really busy at the mo sorting out the content of this degree.

I've also been working on other types of ways of creating an online profile which is easy to manage and looks inviting and professional. I'll keep you updated on this as the weeks pass - ps if you want me to act as a mentor let me know.

I wrote the previous post before you gave me a really nice send-off present. Therefore, thanks Nick (for some bizarre reason I didn't shake your hand but I should of done - I apologise, I think it was the shock of receiving a gift) for the gift, you shouldn't have, but thank you and I appreciate it.

I'd also like to add that with only working with you for a measly 6 weeks it is evident that you have grown substantially. Not in terms of height but in maturity, skill, application and attitude.

Your a nice guy Nick and thanks for the help with the short film - keep it up. I also liked your comment on the CIQ where you said that it was a 'pleasant surprise' that I agreed with you. Maybe it's not just you that's changed it's me as well.

Nat......I read your card to my children when I got home yesterday. On completion my daughter asked me "who's Paul" I replied "it's me". She then said "but your not cool.....you don't even like One Direction" - this is true I don't.

IM WAY COOLER!

I will keep your card safe, as it is really nice and reassuring, and it makes you feel as though that even if you don't always feel that other individuals see what your doing the actual people that matter do.

Even if you can only help one person, and believe in them, then it's always worthwhile.

We need to have a meeting on Tuesday morning at 10.30am (UC201) to discuss the way that this project is going to progress, who is doing what and also additional material that could be created.

Rugby Club Filming & Documentary

Could you please provide me with a definite answer as to who can attend the training session next week: Tuesday 7 - 9 or Thursday 7 - 9. Also can you inform me who is able to film on some Saturdays and Sundays?

It was hoped that someone from the potential team would attend this evening but unfortunately nobody can.

I don't want to let George down again.

We need to also work out the structure of the documentary and who and when this is going to be filmed and edited - have a think and we can discuss this on Tuesday of next week.

External Client Meeting

There will be a meeting with George Davies on Tuesday of next week. George will be coming in to talk about a project that we are going to assist him with over the coming year.

You (the foundation degree students) will be responsible for the management of the project. Some of the year 1 and year 2 learners will be involved but due to the nature of your course you need to work with an external client and manage a project of this nature.

The project will last the entirety of this academic year.
